Gastroparesis is a disorder characterized by symptoms and in which the stomach takes too long to empty its contents. It is estimated that about 5 million people in the United States suffer from gastroparesis. There are a number of things that may contribute to or cause gastroparesis but for majoritiy of people with this condition the cause is often unknown and is termed "idiopathic."

In recognition of Gastroparesis Awareness Month, dietitian Emily Rubin, RD, LDN of Thomas Jefferson Univesity Hospital joined us and G-Pact on Tuesday, August 20th to discuss "Eating with Gastroparesis"
