About IFFGD
At IFFGD, we address issues of digestive health in infants and children, as well as adults. We promote public awareness of conditions such as functional gastrointestinal disorders, gastroesophageal reflux (GER), gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), chronic intestinal pseudo-obstruction syndrome (CIPS), Hirschsprung's disease (HD), and other conditions that significantly affect gastrointestinal health.
IFFGD provides education and support services to pediatricians, family practitioners, specialists, nurses, home healthcare companies, and most importantly the children and families living with GI disorders.

- Sponsor conferences and symposia designed to meet the needs of both healthcare professionals and families. These forums provide opportunities to present the latest research information and share common concerns and ideas regarding treatment strategies.
- Publish a newsletter, Digestive Health Matters, that includes information of scientific interest and ideas about the successful management of gastrointestinal disorders.
- Publish educational materials such as information sheets and pamphlets that are available to families and healthcare professionals.
- Encourage and support research.
There are so many questions that remain to be answered. We are here to encourage and support research, answer questions, and communicate messages that will aid in alleviating pain and fulfilling potential.
